Who We Are
TopAusCasinos is an independent casino review site built by and for Australian players. Our team of four iGaming specialists brings together more than 20 combined years of experience across compliance, player protection, game development analytics, and financial technology. We operate from Melbourne and Brisbane, and every review we publish is based on first-hand testing with real Australian dollars.
We started TopAusCasinos because we were frustrated by the state of casino review sites — most are little more than glorified advertising platforms that rank casinos based on who pays the most commission. We believed Australian punters deserved better: genuinely independent assessments backed by verifiable testing data rather than marketing copy.
Today, we evaluate casinos across 12 distinct criteria using a structured testing methodologythat we publish in full. His career began in compliance at a Sydney-based wagering operator, where he developed expertise in responsible gambling frameworks, anti-money laundering protocols, and player dispute resolution. He subsequently consulted for two international licensing bodies on market-entry assessments for the Australasian region.
Liam holds a Graduate Diploma in Financial Compliance from Deakin University and completed specialist training in responsible gambling through the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation. He leads the TopAusCasinos editorial team, personally tests every casino before it earns a place in our rankings, and has final sign-off on all published scores.

Every team member operates under our strict editorial independence policy. No individual has authority to adjust a casino's score based on anything other than test results.

No casino can buy a ranking on our site. We may earn referral commissions when players visit casinos through our links, but commissions never influence our editorial scores or recommendations. If a casino fails our tests, it does not appear in our rankings — full stop.
Transparency
We publish our complete testing methodology, including the exact scoring weights for each criterion. When we update a casino's rating, we explain what changed and why. Our goal is for readers to be able to replicate our evaluation process themselves.
Player Safety
Responsible gambling is embedded in everything we do. Every page on this site links to support resources.
